• You join the one and only Centre of expertise in ornamental horticulture of Quebec.
• You join a unique team of expert advisors engaged to meet the needs of the Growers and all the sector of the ornamental horticulture of Quebec.
• You have access to a broad range of technical consulting services for productions in greenhouses, in nurseries, sod farms, in agroenvironment, in garden centers, in management and in research and development (R&D) available throughout the province.
• [ Since 2007 ! ][Since 2007!] IQDHO offers consulting services specialized in management to accompany the members while offering production cost and financial analysis, eligible to the subsidy within segment 1 of APF (Agricultural Policy Framework) and business plan, eligible to the subsidy within segment 2 of APF. Moreover, some services can be worked jointly with the technical advisor so that the recommendations have a direct impact in the company.
• IQDHO has offices at various points in the province: the head office is in St-Hyacinthe and satellite offices are located in Lévis, Laval, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Brossard, Montreal and Blainville. • According to your choices and your needs, you can use the consulting hours included in the service package for various consulting services such as: technical, R & D, garden center and from now on in management.
• The membership with IQDHO’s Agroenvironmental Club gives you 20 hours of consulting services thanks to the agreement of the CDAQ-MAPAQ which contributes financially to the Club.
• And like always, you benefit from a preferential rate on consulting hours, technical activities, symposium, workshops and our publications.

• Additional hours, exceeding the package deal, for any technical consulting services are billed at an hourly rate of 72$/hr.
• Additional hours, exceeding the package deal, for any experimental development and knowledge management center consulting services are billed at an hourly rate of 92$/hr.

CONDITIONS

• The travelling expenses are not included in the package deal and are invoiced directly to the company. Basic expenses of 20 $ per visits + 0,35 $ /km of distance covered.
• Hotel and living expenses will be charged when applicable.
• Travel expenses of 30$/hr will be charged to the regional network for outside region consulting: Abitibi, Bas-Saint-Laurent-Gaspésie, Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Charlevoix, Hautes-Laurentides, Outaouais.
• In areas where the plane proves less expensive, plane traveling expenses will be charged.
• A 15 minutes minimum charge is invoiced for each telephone consultation and a minimum of 60 minutes for each on-site visit.
• The hours included in each type of package of consulting services (technical or agroenvironment) are not transferable from one package to another.
• The consulting hours included in the packages can be cumulated for a 15 month period from the date of adhesion but cannot exceed 16 hours for the technical package and 40 hours for the agroenvironmental package.
• All rates are in Canadian dollars and are applicable for businesses located in Quebec only. Businesses located outside Quebec are welcomed to contact us to know our rates. The taxes can vary according to the state, the province or the country and will be added to the invoicing.
• Administration expenses of 1.5 % per month will be charged after 30 days.
• Fees are applicable from April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009.
