At the request of Quebec’s greenhouse and nursery producers to increase their capacity of economic and financial management, IQDHO set up a management consulting service.

The advisor in management offers a service in planning and financial analysis. This service is eligible to a subsidy of the federal government within segment 1 of the Agricultural Policy Framework (APF). The advisor uses several tools such as Agritel and Budgitel. These two software tools developed by the «Fédération des groupes-conseils agricoles du Québec » make it possible to produce analysis and budget reports in a fast and effective way. These tools are appreciated for the analysis of the results and the planning of the future years. Their utility largely exceeds the framework of the APF.

The advisor in management is opened to meet the producers on an individual basis in order to establish a first contact and to identify the axes of the most beneficial interventions for the company. This first meeting does not engage the company by any means. The interested people can come into contact with IQDHO in order to take an appointment.
